Admin-user OAuth uses only these explicit Ops App credentials. It does not use the legacy single-app fallback.

Meta Data App

Used for data-plane operations: page token generation for Facebook/Instagram sync and webhook signature validation.

How it works

  • `Meta Ops App` is for Business Manager operations inside `kpiper-admin`.
  • `Reconciler Admin User Access Token` is used only by the access reconciler when you want BM admin actions to run as your user instead of as the Automation system user.
  • The recommended Meta admin OAuth flow also requests `pages_read_engagement` so the Page access reconciler can inspect and assign Automation on BM Pages.
  • `Meta Data App` is for generating the Page token actually used by `kpiper` pipelines and for validating Meta webhook signatures.
  • If `Reconciler Admin User Access Token` is blank, the reconciler still falls back to the Ops system user token until you complete the separation.
  • If `Meta Data App` is blank, the code still falls back to the legacy single-app setup, so you can migrate progressively.
